About Our Solar Electric Grid-Tie Systems:
Your first step into getting a solar system should be fill out the free consultation form and we will have one of our representatives work with you to build the perfect system. You can also choose to get started on your own with only an electrical bill, you can determine the minimum system size you will need. Once you have determined that, you can determine how many solar panels you will need, and find compatible components from there. Refer to our solar calculator for help and incentive information.

How does a residential solar home system work?
The solar cells in the modules convert the sun’s energy into a DC electrical current. This DC current flows into an inverter which changes the DC electricity to AC electricity in order to run household appliances. The AC electricity flows into your electrical service panel to supply power to your home. If your system produces more electricity than you use, the excess electricity is re-routed to your utility line and, in states with net metering laws, is sold back to the utility company. The utility provides power at night and during the day when your electrical demand exceeds what your solar system produces. During a power outage, your solar system automatically shuts down unless the system includes battery backup.
